The primary bedroom has a comfortable Queen sized bed and a large En-suite shower/tub combo. Relax in the tub after a long day at the beach.
The bunk room has two full-sized beds at the bottom and two twin-sized beds on top, which kids love! Another queen-sized bedroom offers even more sleeping space.
The spacious living and dining room is perfect for everyone to enjoy. Grab a cup of coffee or a cocktail and head to the outdoor screened in porch .
This home is one of the best spots in the Rookery, just steps away from the zero-depth pool, and a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach with convenient parking.

As you enter the Rookery 3 Community, you are greeted with a little sailboat and colorful cottages throughout the community. You will be surrounded by Bon Secour National wildlife reserve. Palm trees around the complex. A pool is to the right just as you enter and pass the security stand. This cottage will be over the bridge, turn left and it will be located on the right. A community house and second pool is very close, the pool is behind this house which is the more family friendly pool. Bring floats and chairs if all the seating is gone at the pool but it's highly unlikely unless there is a family reunion going on. Parking is available at the second pool or it's just a short walk from the cottage.
At night you just may hear the frogs sing to you or maybe if you're lucky a baby alligator.
A lot of people get around by bike, bring your own or rent from Fort Morgan Beach Rentals. They also offer chairs, tents, kayaks etc . Looks good Gulf Karts have golf kart rentals 4-6 seats.
It is about a 10 min walk to the beach down paths and across the street. There is a public parking or you can park along Cortez Street. Bring your skate-boards or scooters--streets by the beach are nice and smooth. Gulf State park is popular for a bike riding and rentals are available.
Available all year. Almost 24 hours a day. Call me or message me if you need anything. I supply a startup pack of things to get you settled in. You will need to go shopping for your essentials, but we have supplied some things for a few days to keep you going.

We had a great stay! We were in town for our daughter’s Nationals softball tournament, and this was the perfect place for our group of 4 adults and 5 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the proximity to the pool was definitely our favorite part—it made it so easy for the kids to swim and relax between games. The community was peaceful and quiet, which made it a great place to unwind after long days at the ballpark. The host was wonderful and sent helpful local tips at check-in, which made our trip even better. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
Upon arrival, we felt right at home. It was the perfect spot for us and our kids! We have always loved coming to golf shores and this spot was one of the best. It was an easy check in, Martha was the sweetest lady and so very helpful. We enjoyed how the community was friendly, enclosed to only the guest who stayed and how peaceful it was. They brought us the golf cart the day of check in & we were over the moon about it. The golf cart was an amazing thing to have with the beach being right down the road, easy for families and is just a nice little thing to have during your stay! The pool was amazing and very fun for us and it was right across from the house which was even better. We loved every minute of our stay, & will definitely be back! Martha, her husband and nieces were very friendly and care a lot about their homes and makes sure to tend to their guest ❤️
From the time of making the reservation until after checkout Martha was helpful in every way! Upon arrival the home was hot but someone had cut the air off. I called her and within 5 minutes or less she had an air condition guy there checking the unit and home. It had just been turned off. Later that night it began to feel better. The home does have ceiling fans, and a small fan in each bedroom, which made it bearable until the unit was able to catch up. From there on it was cold. :) :) The home was cute as a button and had everything we needed. Will definately stay there again!! Was a great time with family!! We rented a six seater golf cart which was very helpful. We rode it to the beach, small pool near entrance and around the property. It was good to have! All the grands loved it!
My family enjoyed our stay this week. The house was clean and cozy. Kids loved the games and the pool was close by so it was easy to access. Our host was responsive. Would stay again.
Martha was very helpful and kind. The welcome cupcakes were a hit. She answered questions within minutes of me messaging her. The house was as described and clean. I will definitely recommend it to friends. 🙂
This cottage was beautiful and a great price for the location! Martha was extremely helpful throughout the whole process.
